Another update.. I was taking it off of a launch ramp for kicks and the motor slipped down and ended up grinding the spur down pretty bad and now the transmission sounds like it is all jacked up. I am renaming this thing the Money-T. Picked up a 58T spur and will get the metal rebuild kit for the trans tomorrow. This thing is still a blast though :)

thats messed up i use my mirco-t all the time around the house jumping off bout anything i can jump it off... I have the kids mini skate park jumps and everything set up and I have head real good luck with integrity..

Now my only problems were that the reciver antenna wasn't fully attatched (Out of Box) I had to resolider back together.
The motor wires the orange one was only partially attacthed(Out of Box) Had to resolder back together..
And my last problem is the transmitter is where the glitches are on it cutting out.. I used a different controller and no problems.. I think the problem lyes with the spot where the crystal slides in I have inspected everything else and that is the only thing that looks alittle off.... I am going to talk to my lhs and most likely calling losi about this aswell....

Other than those 3 problems this thing has been more durable than most of the bigger ones when it comes to taking a beating....

I shudder to think of how much money I've put into just my Micros and Minis. For what I've put into just upgrades for RC stuff, I could have bought a really nice used car.

I know what you mean there but hey as long as you enjoy where your money goes.. right????? I would never be able to try to add up those numbers with the girlfriend around....... But if its fun it cost money and to have more fun means more money!!!!!!!!!

Just an update.. Got the metal gears in the transmission now. It sounds a ton better. I also ordered a heatsink for the motor because the motor gets so hot. I am thinking the mini t could be seeing its last days since I can get a TA 1/18th RTR with 2.4 and a reedy brushless for the price of a brushless kit for the mini t.

Hopefully this new heatsink will help the motor heat issues.

I hat e sounding dumb but what rig are you talking about here??????
TA 1/18th RTR with 2.4 and a reedy brushless for the price of a brushless kit for the mini t.

And it is always worth upgrading any rig you have fun with to make it more fun..... it's always good to have a variety.... I would like between 1 and 4 of each size, make, and model..
just wondering what that other rig is...... and sometimes the most expensive parts are worth grabbing than going all new because sometimes that means more or new problems.

did they discountinue the mini t, because it isnt on their website any more :o

Its still under the vehicle selector but not on the front page. I would seriously doubt they would discontinue it but who knows. :)
