How did that motor compare to the stock motor?

What esc are you running? Did you run it with the stock motor on 4S?
Hello my friend, I run with the HobbyStar motor 39$, the motor are very efficient he can run on 5s the stock motor support only 3s. The ESC are the BLX 185 from arrma :)

Sorry, didn't notice you put the motor your using in the text. lol!

I have that same brand motor in my eJato, the 3660 3300kv, but I just run it off the traxxas vxl-3s esc on 3S. I haven't run it a lot yet. Was looking at the 3670 for my stampede 4x4 if the HW 3660SL/3200kv gets too hot on 3S. It's running off the HW Max10SCT which has a temp plug for the motor, so won't be using that if I switch to the 3670.

If you run on 3s with the HobbyStar 3670/3050kv you are ok with the HW max10 sct but if you running 4s you are better with the BLX185 because the HW max10 sct can run a 3000kv motor maximum on 4s

I only plan on running 3S. Have a hard enough time keeping the truck in one piece as it is! 4S would be crazy!
