Hi all;

I've got a Team Assoc RC10GT (RWD) w/ OS.18 and it's insanely powerful however it's so light it can't hook up worth a dang so I'm looking to find the most grip for each type of surface I run on.

What tire types have you had the best luck with on each surface?

dirt?
grass?
pavement?

Thanks!

Dave

Dirt? (pin spike)
grass?(pin spike)nothing hooks real good on grass lot of spin
pavement?ultimate traction(foam) they wear kinda fast if its real rough:d

thanks!

Dave

hope this helps

on my traxxas jato on smooth clean pavement, jaco brand jac2040 works good for rear tires. i think the front is jac2020. check the jaco site. be sure the camber is 0.0

Thanks for the info!

I've heard those pin spike tires wear out quick if ran on pavement is that true? Would you advise just doing a quick tire swap if I go from dirt to street etc? Any particular brands better than the others?

Where are your favorite places to order from?

Yes if you want the best performance a tire change is in order.Check ethier tower hobbies or Amain hobbies they both have pretty good prices.I believe in each set of tires for a specific purpose screw that dual purpose crap.:D

Those didn't work very well for me on my jato. I tried quite a few different styles with limited success. I have a box full of them now that I'll never run. Most of them worn, but some not so worn.

Now, I run 1/8 buggy wheels/tires. Badlands on grass/dirt, road rage for pavement.
