It sounds like at the very least, they will be quickly accessible to hobby stores. It depends on what your local hobby store is willing to stock I would think.

so far my lhs is only traxxas so i already have to order everything cause i'm not a traxxas man. i would be satisfied if i could get them no prob from like tower or rc planet or amain.

thanks for all the input guys. it is very much appreciated as i value your experience & opinions very much. i think i'm sold on the trophy 4.6. now i just have to pull the trigger.

Your going to love it! It is the perfect basher! Hopefully like comppro said, they will be sending parts over to the U.S soon.

The problem with the trophy 4.6 is the pullstarts. They are complete garbage, and for some reason the truck has some issues with rotostart. The plate doesn't want to fit mine right, and the gear inside keeps getting jammed.

They are SUPER tough though, recently mine hit 2 trees at full speed in a row, drove up them 6-7 feet, did a back flip and landed right on the side. Amazingly no damage other than a shattered piston connecting rod (Ouch!) This was my fault though. Make sure you get a throttle return safety spring and make sure its on right!

And make SURE to tighten all bolts before you drive it. I lost a wheel and 2 motor mount bolts from them being loose. And when I removed my head it wasn't tight either.

hey guys. i currently have a savage x 4.6, savage xs & redcat hurricane. I'm looking to get rid of redcat & get a truggy. i know it's probably a loaded question but what is the best rtr truggy for joy racing & bashing? i drove an 09 losi 8t today & it was awsome. Just so much on market now & don't want to deal with kit because it gets so expensive by the time ur done. any & all suggestions are welcome. thanks in advance.

Take a look at the Kyosho Inferno Neo St Truggy RTR

In my opinion this is one of the greatest RC values because it comes with a really good engine, a good 2.4mhz radio system, great Kyosho handling and the truggy is almost indestructable!

I am having blast with mine.

Haven't been on here in a while, but I am interested in this conversation. I have a Losi Ten-T and I love it. This thread is making me interested in the HPI Trophy 4.6 though. I'm not as much a big racer as I am a basher. The Trophy seems to do both really well. I will have to keep that in mind when making a new kit purchase. HPI has a track record of very sturdy and tough products (I own 2 Savages) and this Trophy seems to follow in those footsteps. If anyone knows different about it durability, please let me know before I wind up pulling the trigger on this one.
