Can anyone help me I bought a TYCO SCORCHER 6X6 RC Car 9.6v Turbo and want to replace the battery can I use this NiMH battery pack 9.6 V 2300 mAh 8 Stick with Tamiya-plug

Welcome to the forum! As long as the dimensions and voltage are the same, it will work.

Welcome to the asylum. Which battery will depend on which battery box you have. You need to know the dimensions for it, such as length, width, and depth. They made two versions of the 9.6V back then. One used AA's, and one used sub-C cells and was bigger. This is the AA style: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2735316678...GWvuc36o8Nj2taBaOfjltrdJnKb-Y8OsaAo8cEALw_wcB
And this is the sub-C style: https://power.tenergy.com/at-tenerg...40-3wh-30a-rate-tamiya-connector-flat-config/

Welcome to the RCT mad house. As long as the battery fits and is the same voltage You should be fine like @WickedFog said.. just for the first run keep a eye on motor and electronics. Make sure they don't get hot... that's old rc...
