battery pack in traxxas controller????

Just use some rechargable AAs.

but thats a hassle to have to charge 8 separate one i just want one pack i can charge quick

The Traxxas controllers I have are not set up for that. If you want to hack it up, find the wires and wire in a plug, you probably could do it.

You can buy a charger that does 8 AAs all at once.

I'm willing to do that and connect a connector and then put a battery but what battery would you suggest

Check dimensions to make sure it will fit, a flat pack like THIS should work well. Or if you have a charger you can go with a 11.1v LiPo.
