They will be just fine. A little over priced but will last a good long time and serve your need.

thanks. Eddie you think these are over priced? if you dont mind me asking how you do you pay for batteries? i thought they was a good price since if you were to go to raio shack and buy rechargeables the would run you 20 bucks for like a 1500 mah.

contact the seller and ask if they accept a money order. If their feedback is as good as the one ed mentioned I wouldn't hesisate to send a money order. Then you can do ebay.

na I'm good. ill just get the ones i showed. i dont feel confortable send money to a complete stranger. especially a money order.

Hey Danny,

Check this out, this store is local for me but they also do online business.

You get a lot more cells for your mah-ney.

They also have a 20 pack of the same cell type but it's not listed on their site. I may be stopping by the store tomorrow. I'll check and see what price they sell them at.

Yeah, those Venom's are high priced. I picked up a pack of Ray-O-Vac 2000 MaH, NiMH batteries at Home Depot for for $5.00 the other day.

Honestly, though, your TX might be able to take a stick pack and you really should be using a 5-cell hump for your RX. A 2-over-3 hump will typically fit in the same space 4 "AA's" will and give you 6 volts versus 4.8.

Do you have a charger danny? If so I would go with a hump pack. If you want to go with the ebay route I may be able to help you out. If your interested that is.

Monkey's got it right. The AAs are fine for TX use but you need to build a 5 cell pack for your RX.

oh yeah i have a charger. i have a super brain that i got off candyman. do hump back pack use 2/3 batteries?

You can get them in just about any configuration. 2/3, flat, 2/2/1, 2/1/2. It all depends on what your putting it in and how much room you have.

check out www.onlybatterypacks.com

Since you already have a charger look at the ones without chargers. They are about $10 cheaper.

thanks i found the ones that should work.

Frys has the 2400mah 20 pack at 37.99. Factor in tax and shipping and you're looking at around $45. You might want to just order direct and save on the tax.

thanks deisel for looking for me. i think there is an electronics spply store on my way home ill see if they have some.

its not hard at all. I've used to make them when i was 13. i dont know if fry's has everything at the store but online i found some really nice soldering irons that i want.

basicially all you will need is
1 soldering iron
2 solder
3 batteries
4 battery bars
5 heat shrink tubing
6 heat gun (blow dryer or a lighter also work. be carefully if you use a lighter)
7 black and red wire (what ever guage size you want)
8 plugs ( male and or female)
