Sorry to ask such a daft question, but how do you connect a flexible coupling to this engine?

There doesn’t appear to be any thread left on the shaft to attach one. My last IC boat engine was an OS10 and I’m sure I was able to attach a separate two piece coupling.

When I raced nitro boats, we used an Octura Flex Hex coupler that threaded onto the crankshaft threads and gripped the flex cable prop shaft. Not sure if these are still available.

Yes, you remove the stock nut on the engine that retains the flywheel and replace it with the appropriate Flex Hex coupler.

Thanks, I get it, you remove the nut nd replace it with the coupling. Ah ha!

Cheers
