Go fast boat disguised as a sailboat 😀

Near the final stages of finishing a hand crafted marine plywood "sailboat" in name only. It is a 4000kv motor equipped boat..the main mast will just spin freely in whatever direction the wind blows it..all the while having control over the boat with the remote. People typically sit on the netting of these boats and do sunset cruising on some of the islands of the Philippines but the real ones are wind powered only.

I could go for a boat ride around some warm islands right about now!!! Looks like heaven!!!

I was stationed at Clark Air Base in the Philippines from 1983 to 1985 on Luzon. Sadly, I never visited the islands of Visayas during my time. It was kinda dangerous for US soldiers to travel around back then.
Would have loved a boat ride around there.
Model looks really cool.

Thank you RiverRat.. yes there are several islands with world class scenery unfortunately the country still has third world problems.

Finished the seat netting and outriggers on both sides..waiting for a transmitter/receiver and I should be able to throw this thing in the water!
