I've been working on making some bags/cornhole sets out of fiberglass and am just about to have a set made ready for me :) to test out. Is there any interest on here for a one time buy since you will never have to worry about these doing anything a wooden set would do ie: warp if you leave em outside. They are about 10 lbs each board right now with no parts that nature can destroy. If there is interest, what would you pay knowing they are one piece fiberglass construction and you won't need another set unless you are a die hard player?

Sounds pretty cool. Do you have any pictures of any completed sets yet?

@Rolex I had the same reaction when I moved to KY about 6-7 years ago. Cornhole wasn't referring to a game you play in the front yard - at least not back home it wasn't. haha Basically it's a game where you throw bean bags onto a board trying to get them into the hole. http://www.cornhole.com/ Maybe after second thought, it is the samething as back home. :D

I just made the second board last night, ill post a pic tonight. I need to play on them to make sure they will actually work well the way they are made right now.

Rolex, the name comes from the feed corn the bags are supposed to be filled with..

Uh......oh yeah. Actually the first time I heard of that game was in Afghanistan a couple years ago. It is pretty fun but when a few buddys said "hey we are going to do some Cornhole'n, wanna come with?" I was a little afriad.....first time is the most difficult just to say. After that you get the rythem down and the correct angle of the toss and it is a lot easier. What were you guys thinking????

I may be interested in a set. My biggest concern would be the shipping cost. I dont play all the time but on occasion do enjoy it with the wife/kids. I've made a few out of wood and just poly coated the piss out of them. Let me know what the cost might be and I may bite on it.

Those look pretty good actually. Does the board have a lot of flex with it or is it pretty solid like the plywood boards?

They have a slight bounce in them but that's because my bracing could be better. I'm going to brace the next set differently and it should help tremendously. To be a full size set and playable, they are the only set I've seen that u can carry both boards in one hand. The legs are PVC and the hardware is all stainless steel so the entire board is free from anything that can rust or rot. Basically built like a boat, the fiberglass is one piece construction and is hand rolled. The fiberglass is laid in as a full piece.
