Jesse are you using ARO....EVERY time you run?and making sure the piston is BDC when it's not running.....those issues won't really help w/ this situation but thought I'd throw a reminder to ya.....and I'm w/ the crowd on this one...tear it down and clean it out.....look for scoring on th episton head sides as well....sounds like whoever you got this from never did maintenance on his mill......when you tear it down and clean it you might have more issues to fix too......If you can get the sleeve pinchedbefore you run it again too...that "sludge" might be the only thing giving you compression if it's thick enough to e coating your plug like that.....

Actully I just finishing marking my flywheel so I can set the piston at DBC, and no I havent been using after run oil after I run it and I know I should. The Rc10 has only been ran for like 10 freaking minutes. I have went out a couple times trying to get it to run. But its been up in the high 90's everyday! And my back has been freaking killing me. So I try to take it easy and stay inside and keep cool. Luckly I'm having my surgery Monday so hopefully that will help. I pulled the head off last night and there wasn't that much sludge really at all. But like I said before when I pulled the glow plug it looked nasty!!! So I think for now I'm going to set it aside untill after my surgery and then take it apart and clean it. I'm just going to chill for the next couple days :)

Are you sure it's getting fuel? After sitting for a while, the fuel gums up the carb jets even if the tank is empty. I know I've run into that a few times... but I could get them running. After a few tanks everything would be back to normal.

I'd pull the carb apart and give it a thorough cleaning with DA.

Jesse, keep me up to date on what you do with the GT. I think we need to get together when your healed and i'll get that beast running and dialed in for you! :D

Take the engine apart piece by peice and clean it with denatured alcohol, take the carb apart and clean it well.

Lube everything up, not so its dripping oil but just enough so everything is covered.

Seal the carb and backplate with sensor safe RTV if possible.

LMAO
damn I needed that this morning
Coffee's not ready when I walked in office....WTF do these people do before I get here?!?!?!!?!?

...they go through your "Maximizer Products" boxes before you get in.

i need to set one of those out and booby trap it.... :D
like a big dildo that slaps em on the head for lookin in my stuff.....

Plaid, if I order from them again I'll mail you the box. The one from the other day is gone as yesterday was trash day.

Jesse, after your surgery it will be good therapy to break down the motor and carb and set it up right. At least you will know if there is anything else not right with it.

That would be great :D. I'm going to set it aside for now. I have been tinkering with it though. I polished the head/header and the pipe with my dremel the other day lol. It looks really nice now, just dont run hehe. Olds it is getting fuel, I know because I flooded it once and pulled the plug and tipped it upside down and fuel came out. I'm thinking after a good cleaning as stated above and some fine tunning it will run. Lucky for me Dirtracingfool has offered to help me out and only lives about 2 miles away from here and he has a lot more experiance then I do when it comes to Rc's. He has some very impressive Rc's he has built. Hand made chassis and some other really cool fabrications, I actually have some custom made aluminum bulkhead braces he made for me a while back :).
