What color should i use for backing the Spaz Stix color change paints? The body i am painting is all black except the color change flames. I really want the color change to pop out, and i am afraid that if i back it with black it will just blend in with the rest of my body.

I allways bake the colorchange paints with black, I don't know wich will be the result with another color, just test it in a scrap lexan piece first, a coke bottle will also work to make a test.

Before you coat it with black Id suggest shooting a few coats of clear coat. This will make them stand out alot more.

that sounds just like my brothers truck body he had painted. its all black with color shifting flames. it looks really good too. the guy that painted it backed it with silver. if i had pics id show ya but i dont, sorry

I agree. Back it with silver. Silver acts to reflect the color that's already there, whether it's a light or dark color. All mine are silver backed. Then I add a clear coat for chip protection.
