Hobby lobby definitely carries the createx line, but offers no way to check the inventory of a particular location online. Looks like I am calling them tomorrow. The prices are definitely good, if it's in stock, I guess I am taking a drive to "scenic" holyoke.

And in true modern fashion the hobby lobby employee has transferred me to the correct dept. And the girl has no idea if they have what I want, but is sure they have a set I am not interested in stock by the same brand....road trip is coming to look for myself.

Is Eastfield open yet? 10 minutes from you.

I recently got out my old airbrush, picked up a little compressor during the holiday sales, along with some of the Createx Wicked Colors paint.
I have a number of bodies to paint as well, and plenty of time now.

Nice! Look forward to seeing what you do with it. I am still figuring a few things getting set up. Gonna use the compressor I have at the moment, which is overkill at 20gal. But has a reg and water separator already on it.

I have seen them mentioned a fair amount here. I don't believe they are available at a retail store near me though
I shoot Createx also. Water based, easy to keep your brush clean and they are available at just about any hobby store like Hobby Lobby or stores like that

It's taken a bit to get everything set up. Finally shot the airbrush at something today. Createx wicked colors, with reducer. How long do you all wait before handling etc? All I see on the packaging is cure with heat...I assume a hair dryer is hot enough

What did you spray and how does it look?

Was google info accurate? What did you do to cure?
Dries to the touch in 10 minutes, full air dry cure at 50% humidity takes 48 hours. Option to heat cure with hair dryer or heat gun. I used the hair dryer because plastic parts. My place is around 30% humidity right now. Should be good when I get home from work to install later. Will get pics then.
