Nope, you just drop a battery or two in and they slowly drive forward. They were cool toys for their day, but now they cost almost as much as an SCX24.

If I had to guess, I bet they were closer to 1/50 scale or so. They are easily half the size of an SCX24, and a bit over 1" longer than a Hotwheels.

I was pretty blown away by that thing too!
I had a Semi tractor stomper too but its long gone.
Cool little trucks! I think I remember some floated but I don't think I'll try.

The semi was way cool. My lil brother and I got out of them by the time that came out. We moved on to Transformers. I wish I still had my old Stomper collection.
