We had our first night of Mini T racing at a local track here in Staten Island.
The only rules were, stock motor, and 7.2 volt maximum battery. Anything else goes.
This track was great. The cars were quick enough stock, and made the jumps without a problem.
It was a bunch of us, that have been racing together for a long time. But getting older, and having families of our own now, have made our getting together difficult. It was nice to all be together racing at the same place and time.
Just thought that I would share my day with you guys.
Buy the way, the Mini T is a great car out of the box, but I suggest doing the shocks and CVD's right away. My 2 cents.
It was a great day.

i agree with RatzoRC, shocks and universal along with bearings are 1st things ppl should have on there upgrade list :)

Well, we had another stellar night at The Staten Island Mini Raceway.
We had about 17-18 entries last night, and things couldn't have gone any better.
We ran 2 qualifying rounds, and the mains.
Guess who was TQ?
I only took 3rd in the A main, but I'll live.
It seems that word is getting out about our little track, and people are starting to come.
If you live local to the Staten Island area, and want to check it out, clickHERE for info.
I really would like to get Robriguez And Team 17 to come down.
Thanks.

I really want to go. Hopefully with in a couple of weeks when my shoulder heals and gets stronger I'll be able to attend.

As for Robriguez, he works til 7 pm and don't get home til 8. So it's hard for him to make it. Plus he doesn't have a Mini-T

I finally went to the track in Staten Island with RatzoRc and had a good time. I sucked in Qualifing so I raced in the "D" main while Ratzo raced in the "B" main. I placed 1st and Ratzo finished 2nd. Hopefully the next time we'll do better. I have a couple pics that I will post 2morrow.

Yeah, it was a good time, but I had a real bad night.
I should have left the setup the way it was.
You know what they say, If it aint broke, don't fix it.
Anyway, B main for me. Damn!!

i did bad too ratzorc my motor dumped so i had to put another one in i ended up in 3rd b main got hacked a lot

Oh on friday?
I had to go to that wedding. Sorry you had trouble.
You were fast as anything, then the last two weeks, you lost some laps.
Just don't try so hard, and the laps will come.

I forgot to ask when I was there. How are the points based on?

I think you missed to many races Team17.
Points are based on where you place in a race.
1st place a main, gets you so many points.
2nd place a main gets you one piont less, and so on.
A main gets you the most points.
B main, second most, and so on.
At the end of a points series, (10 weeks), you take your best 7 points races, and add them up.
The guy with the most points wins.

i have a two tracks here one is a off road with jumps and the other is a oval
