I picked up a real old car from my dads friend and I don't know much about rc cars yet but I'm really getting into them so this is my best shot at describing it.. It's obviously a associated buggy.. It seems to have a graphite chassi. The towers for the body are really high up on the back and theirs only 1 mount in the front for the body..

If theirs any questions you need to ask me to help you help me then please ask away.. I just want to see what this car is suppose to look like retail and new..

Pics do wonders when asking these type questions.

ehh..

I'll try my best to find a camera but I don't think I'll be able to get a picture. My mom may have one laying around.. I'll get a pic tomorrow if I find one.

Graphite chassis... Lets' see. Off the top of my head, it sounds like an RC10CE, which is the second buggy that Associated produced. It came out around the time the Stealth transmission (the transmission that AE still uses today in various final drive ratios) was made standard equipment, and around the time that Associated released their first stadium, the RC10T (which featured a black tub chassis).

If it isn't the RC10CE, it is most likely an RC10 gold tub with the graphite plate chassis.

The graphite referred to here is a woven pattern graphite, not the composite graphite that most everything is made from today, with no sidewalls.

Either way, the car is a definite shelf queen. Drive her gentle, if you do drive her at all.

Awesome thanks heartbreak, I looked up RC10CE and didn't find anything that matched, But then I looked up RC10 Graphite and found this..

Looks just like my car exept my car has a little plate screwed into the back and it sits on top of what the motor is inside of.. And it has long things going up that looks like eather a spoiler goes their or a weird body thats low in the front and really high in the back..
Heres my best shot a showing you...

That is an older Gold Tub RC10CE (gold tub version with straighter arms, black tub, and a stealth trans) that someone has converted to the plate chassis. The part you're attempting to draw is a body mount. I cannot remember who made it, although BRP and Parma are coming to mind.

It's a definite shelf queen. Drive her gently; those graphite plates are practically non-existent anymore.
