I know that feeling. I was most of last summer trying to dial in my Felony 8s dirt "rally car"(lol) and I'm almost there.

Stock felony gearing for now but I'm running a BLX185 with an xmaxx motor on 8s. I'm too lazy to get out of my chair to look at the KV lol.
The tires are the biggest reason I need to change that up. I was thinking about 3-4 teeth up on the pinion gear to keep things cooler and a bigger cooling fan on the esc & motor. It's an ongoing science experiment like most of our stuff. I like to tear into these RCs & build something they were not intended to be.
Junkyard builds will always be my favorite thing. Check out this pile of spare parts that is trying to become my crawler hawler lol . I'm going to attempt to scratch build a gooseneck trailer for it. This will be where 50+ years of building model cars and 30+ years as an auto tech comes in handy.

Yes it is. I'm running 150amp speckatrum with 1250kv 57/22 gearing animal but think I'm going to put the 26t pinion on and see how it does cause it runs really cool with the set up 57/22 so I think it can handle the 26 pinion on 4s. Sometimes I will play with it on 6s but man to much lol
