I heard about it and i saw JayTeeRC and Do RC's videos about this car and it's impressive and i think he have a confirmed new champion for the World's fastest RTR RC car and it just mopped the floor with the XO-1. I also like how Arrma includes both a center diff and spool as well as the appropriate gearing for both general bashing and speedrunning just like the XO-1 all for only $800 USD only $50 more than the old antiquated XO-1. Even though i've been an XO-1 fanboy for almost 4 years now and will most likely continue being one but i must admit Arrma blew Traxxas out of the water with this new release to where i might have to get one in the future.

The extra juice from the 8S vs 6S ESC better make it faster, otherwise.... :hehe:

I agree, I also just watched the video of this new Limitless and they said they also updated the firmware on the ESC it comes with so it's actually more powerful than the K8s\O8s variants. It's way more advanced than that ancient Castle Mamba Monster 2 that a stock XO-1 runs although my XO-1 runs an MMX8s a part of me now wants to buy this new Limitless and compare it to my XO-1. Maybe i'll do it someday if i can find the time and money since i think my next RC purchase will be an X-Maxx Ultimate. But there is one similarity this new Limitless has on my XO-1 both have the same Spektrum receiver the SR6200a AVC receiver and i wonder when i get my new iXSR if can get it to show telemetry on the Limitless' new ESC.

They would get sued if they actually "stole" the fastest in radio control name. Darn Traxxas that don't think of modern ideas 😆😜🫠
Sure, technically before this the x01 was the fastest RTR car, BUT it won't do 100 out of the box unless you fully unlock it via the Traxxas app. So ideally the limitless is the fastest RTR.

Before Arrma released this new Limitless 120 8s RTR the XO-1 held the World's fastest RTR out of the box title for over 13 years until today. there also was the Rlaarlo AK-917\AK-787 RTR's they could go 100+mph but those are by a really small company that aren't as big as Traxxas and Arrma also not very stable either. The XO-1 and the new Limitless 120 8s BLX are the true fastest RTR's in the world currently and that i would trust vs a small China company like Rlaarlo. But that's just me.

I totally wouldn’t mind driving that beast into a curb!
The Felony is a challenge to find a road long, smooth and less traveled enough to use safely.
We don't have any abandoned runways around me I am aware of to make this land rocket useful.

This Arrma release puts me in mind of an Ed Fink cartoon image from the 1960s:

I always loved Ed Roth's artwork, but did ya ever notice a lot of his engines don't have carbs?

I used to draw a lot of stuff like Roth for my art sketches that we had to turn in every 6 weeks. And because Cartoons was my favorite magazine back then, I was influenced a lot by his Rat Fink stuff. But it always got me why he didn't draw in all the necessary parts on the engines. I mean, not even a close resemblance. Was he just lazy? 🤔😆

I always hated drawing the carbs too though

Cool, I think next year sometime in the spring or summer i might get my own of these to go along with my Felony, XO-1, Vendetta and AK-917. I've wanted a Limitless but i didn't like how the V2 was with how it was solely designed for speedruns out of the box and you needed extra parts to put a center diff and bashing gearing in it. Also knowing how i would build it most likely it would cost $1500 - 1600 to build a V2 vs the $800 out the door for this new RTR than can do both street bashing and speedrunning this sounds like a deal for me.
