What i'm needing to do is buy a larger hard drive, but I don't want to/can't reinstall windows.

What I read is that clonezilla is used to make an exact copy of a hard drive, but I'm not sure how user friendly it is. I can figure most things out on my pc for myself, but once in a while things get too complicated.

Is there a better software out there for doing this? I don't mind buying a program to do it if need be.

Thank in advance.

Heard of it but never used it. Another to check out is EaseUS ToDo.

Best bet would be to do a fresh install though.

Yeah, I'm just running an upgrade copy of windows 7, and last time I did a fresh install my xp disc was not wanting to load very nicely.

That, and the agonizing amount of time i'm going to have to spend reinstalling programs and games.

Ugh.
