I think it looks great. My 2 cents is You added the black and that changed the main color you were trying for.

I was to cheep to go get some white paint. I had a rattle can of black just aging like fine wine. It actually made a cool color.

I used smoke on the windows then backed it with the black.

hey i've painted bodies white goin for the 'your name here' look. kinda goes w/my budget for this stuff too....as in can't afford it, runnin bare bones.

I see through your clever Ruse....I did the same color thing w/ my first body I seriously tried to paint....I was intentionally going for a crackle look like I used ot do on my bikes and it came out from Flourescent yellow to green and then faded to the yellow in the back cause I backed it w/ white.....Now I have to post pics of my body tonite....damn this forum is now becoming a contest even......every one post pics of your best lids....lets show eddy what the words SUCKY LID mean......

hey don't be so hard on yourself wait til you see my butchering of a H2 body....did you get any runs in yours? I thought I would have some knowledge of painting these things but I found painting inside is much harder than painting from the outside....and no way to fix it when you do screw up

My TT S3 lid did nto come out as good as I wanted. All my other trys came out better than I thought I could do, so I was really disappointed in my S3 lid.

Ed, are you across from the park next to the General's Daughter restaurant? I know downtown Sonoma pretty well, and it looks like that park in the background. Just a guess, though. You cold be on the other side of town by all the new markets and fast food restaurants, too. I gotta get up there again, SOON! Love Sonoma Jacks and Vela Cheese. (and wine)

Well I'll put up so I can shut up...this is my first attempt at painting a body...the effect I wanted to get worked on the glass I practiced on....I guess the concave plastic was too much for me too handle

it's actually Flourescent Yellow Backed w/ Black in the front and White in the Back...the fade was done w/ the backing....
