Much like Porsche selling the Cayenne after making sports cars all of their history. But if that's what it takes to keep the lights on, it's fine by me. I can't exactly go down to the Triumph dealership and buy myself a new Spitfire. Not unless BMW decided to resurrect Triumph, that is. They own the name these days.

Pretty much killed the RC10 legacy. -AC
Yeah, it is kinda werid. It's nice they're coming out with a lot of different, unique RC's. Even though it's weird. But why they decided to put RC10 on everything and use the same color scheme is just odd. It's like they are trying to reinforce the brand.

But in time, all the older folks that this is pissing off will be gone, and the younger generations won't be bothered by it.

I wouldn't mind grabbing one of the original RC10's repro buggies, and msybe one of the other variants. But that's the only things I have seen that I would want. Maybe that semi to slap a 60's Ford Econoline cab on it, but only if I could get a tandem bed designed for it, which would require me learning Blender. I think that would be cool.

If I could have bought my B7 in the original color scheme, I would have.
I like the original RC10 graphics.
Those cars looked great done in box art design.

I wouldn't mind one clear, painted or one of each! 😎😁

Have you seen the Las Vegas edition RC10? OMG. SMH. You have to race that race, in order to get the special edition. Yeah hard no for me.

It's like how many times can you re-use a chassis? According to AE it's N+1

HA :)

I think it's time they come up with some new now. How many re-re's is this now? Agreed, that color scheme isn't helping anything. I love AE because it was my first hobby grade RC, but I'd like to see some innovation again.

Well if you ever find out, I'd like to know what he's gonna buy next. As I have a T6.4 as well. And I'm just getting used to it. Ouch. I'm out of touch. :)

AE boss: "we've got all this equipment and raw material to make RC10's. What should we do?"

AE Marketing/Sales: "Let's just sell our old inventory cover it up with lipstick and call it new!"

Consumers: "YAY!!!! Only $450 for a new, old buggy? Take my money now! Hope my NiCad's still fit"

:)

the only flaw i see in that is the price.

Can you show us on this RC where the bad AE rep touched yours? :hehe:

HAHA, I love it.

But really just making fun of the fact they don't really do anything new, (maybe sometimes...like is there a 6.5? Making of naming conventions there) but it's priced like it's new. Don't get me wrong, love the AE. But still....it's comical.

To answer your question....And this is just giggles. Right between the pinion and the spur gear. HA
