the 2997a ESC is massive compared to the stock, obviously it is a smaller car. You guys think there is a way to slap that in there? I highly doubt it…so, what other esc do yiu guys think would be a better choice?

UPDATE: hbx is working on a frame to adapt it to the 3100a. Dang that’s great customer service .

So I ended up getting the FS-BS3 receiver with gyro, wow, day and night difference. I just ran it across a soccer field (about 385 feet) with absolute ease, no range issues any more, the gyro makes it way easier to control. I’m really loving this truck.

I got the larger ESC yesterday from HBX and was able to swap it. I’m very happy with the results.
I just got done running it and it performs excellent.
