I am trying to set up my sidewinder, but I can't find where to plug in the adapter.... WTF??? did I get the wrong adapter?

You plug the castle link to the receiver lead on your esc and the usb plug to the usb port on your computer. If you are running vista the included disc software will not work, you will need to go to the cc website and follow the instructions to download and install the software for vista,

if you can't get it to run on vista, right click it and run it as admin....oh, make sure you reconnect the red wire that you disconected for you bec...

I didn't dissconnect the red wire from my ESC, Do I need to?

are you running the bec? if so, then yes, the red wire (in the three wires that go to you rx) is the stock bec wire.
