Has anyone delt with RC4WD lately? I am wondering if quality has improved.

I built the TF2 probably 5 or 6 years ago and I remember the quality not being the greatest. Parts fitment and design was in issue. They even came out with a TF3, but I heard it was garbage and they soon discontinued it. I am just looking for a nice slow build to occupy some spare time, and the leaf sprung chassis is definitely cool and all. If their quality issues are still there, then I want to steer clear.

The front axles are no longer dogbone. Their XVDs are pretty good. Their transfer case and axles do need to be shimmed. Same old RC4WD. Slightly better axles.
