How does this radio perform? I want a relatively inexpensive radio that performs well with glitch free operation. I know a 2.4 ghz system is the way to go in this case. The MX-3 has 18-model memory. That's definitely a plus. I've heard great things about the legendary m-11, do those traits carry over? Thanks.

I have the MX-3. It's great, never failed on me. If your are planning on using it on more than one car, this is what I would recommend. If you get the regular MX-3, you would need to buy new receivers and crystals or the XXtra receiver, but both are good. But I would definitely recommend the FHSS to anyone who wants just one transmitter for all of their cars.

 I want one TX for all my cars. So the reliability is excellent then? How about battery life?

Looking for more opinions. Probably going to save up for either a new radio (this one hopefully) or a brushless system for my RC18.
