Ok below are a couple filters I have. I am assuming the one on the left is a motor saver it also has a plastic gaurd that goes on it. I personally like the one on the left better because its a nice dual element filter that uses oil on both filters and they both can be cleaned and reoiled the question is. Where can I get one bigger than the one on the right its a losi filter. I would like a bid daddy like a 1/8 any help?? Thanks X

How are the MotorSaver air filters treating you? I like them a lot. I definately wont go with a paper element for anything offroad but have considerred them for onroad. OS makes some nice big air filters as well. The only mod I do to a motorsaver filter, is to place a bead of light epoxy around the screen edging on the inside of the lid. If you take it apart regularyly to clean and oil, the screen can become loose on the lid. Thus, the epoxy.

well as you can see the motor saver has lost a piece of the end where it attaches to the carb thanks to the assanine design of the idle screw on the Fantom rotary carbs.

I use the Motor Saver on my Fantom w/"assinine" rotary carb and have no problems with it. I actually bent the idle set screw away from the neck a smidge. I also dremeled the area of the filter that fits over the neck flat. One zip tie and no problems with keeping the filter on there.

Away frm the troubles of the engine. I like the basket and two element filter that the Motor Saver design offers. As you have seen, I put mine through some pretty extreme conditions. The filter has kept me running.
