Couple of questions...

Are you looking for a compressor just to airbrush? Or would you like to get one that can do other things? Do you already have an airbrush? How much painting are you anticipating?

That setup doesn't seem too bad. It's strictly airbrush, though. And the airbrushes they show are simple single action brushes. Those are good for some general work, but a dual action gives you more control.

I run a Campbell-Hausfield 5 gallon compressor with a Paasche VL dual action airbrush. Plus I get to use the compressor to blow off my dirty cars and have a few tools to work around the house with. So it serves a lot of purposes. I paid like $250 for it..

i only want one for airbrush only for bodys. no do not have one anymore lost it in my last move.my major question is i know you get what you pay for but will this thing last.looking to see if anyone had any exp. with this one.and looking for a good airbrush also the 2 thet come with this is just a +.

the compressor is a central pnuemantic one that will barely push enough air to brush well. You definately wont be about to shoot faskolor with that compressor. I speak from experience on this one. You would be better getting one that will do the job right. Those airbrushes are POS. You will probably end up frustrated with that set up and never paint. JMO.

that is all i need to hear thanks ill keep searching.can you tell me were i can find a good one?is the brand baddger any good?

I don't know. This is what I did. I went to Costco (you can go to Home Depot or Lowes or another home improvement store) and bought a 2.5 gallon tank compressor. I fitted it with a moisture trap ( a must) and I am good to go. The compressor cost around $100 I think. I primarily use it for airbrush, but occasionally I use it for other things. It is nice to have some flexibility.

As far as a quality airbrush, I personally recommend the Aztec A4709 kit. This brush rocks.... Very easy to use, single or double action option, set of spray tips, jars and airline.

how about a paasche airbrush type "vl"? found one used for 35.00, but can anyone give me an idea if it's worth that?

i was in wally world the other week looking at air compressors to tease myself and found a really neet one I'm goign to have to own.. its 2 gal, has a rechargable batt in it, and is portable so u can take it to the track for cleaning and all out of the trunk of your car.. it comes with a regulator is is little over 100$... i would buy a small watertrap and regulator for air brush.. but see where it would be ideal for a rc person for all around use..
