Id look into that. Having a comper agian, to me would be lame without going to comps and not to bring anything up but didnt you kinda burn your self with alot of those cali guys you used to comp with from what happened on rcc/pirate? Just be another reason to get bored with it faster.
Plus like I said, to get back into a good comp rig, its gonna cost way more than $250, alteast tripple, but most likely $1k+ since you are starting from scratch.

sold my nitro just in time for christmas, got a few dollars for gifts, really wanted to FINALLY start a scale project, and decided to buy computer parts to build my own computer instead
i figure, if i still want it when i graduate and get my degree, it will be a graduation gift to myself
