charge your batteries and you are good to go!!!!

other than that you will want to upgrade your links cuz those plastic links suck really really really bad....add weight to the wheels, get some saddle packs too....remember to try and get all the weight down as low as possible. i'd start saving for a new esc too.

Its really funny i charged all the battery packs the other day so I'm good to roll

I do want to do the links

well since they are on this forum, i'll suggest eastendmachining.com they have strc link kits in a bunch of different colors for cheap.

i say trim the body a little, new tires ,link kit,4link uppers ,then esc and a good servo which ever order u want to go in but id start there then just change stuff as it breaks

I think you all forgot one important thing, that will make one of the biggest differences, A locker in the front axle, you need full time FWD also alot of these mods here at this link will help alot http://www.rccrawler.com/axialcompbuild.html once you pull up the web page just scoll down the page, one of the easy ones to do is moving your lower links on the tranny side to the inside if the chassis, http://www.rccrawler.com/articles/axialcompbuild/10.JPG

and the steering mod was a good one too, http://www.rccrawler.com/articles/axialcompbuild/14.jpg

That will keep you busy for a while...

Here is what the link and steering mods looked like on my rig

very good points Curtis and those are little to no money to do and make a HUGE difference. if you are trying to do some for no or little cost do what Curtis pointed out, trim the body like rollin said, pick up some pine car wieghts and get some weight in the wheels...cut your foams too and drill a few small holes in yours wheels. i run three 1/8th inch holes in both front and two in both rear wheels. all that stuff will cost you nothing to $10 so no big deal...

Thanks for all the tips....I do know the battery hold down really sucks....the battery came out 3 times....other then that i fun with it testing it out in my mom and dads back yard....it wont look the same soon i promise

Why do you flip the transmission and skid plate?
