I just got me a wild hair and wondered would it fit. Who cares what it looks like because it did fit with a little trimming. Hell maybe she'll fly better at the HRB2.

Thanks. I'm really glad I am not the only one who thought it looked ugly but I am still going to fly it that way and see what happens.

So you put a micro body on your buggy?
No it wasn't a micro it was a 1/10th scale body for an RS-4. It only cost $10 at the LHS so it's not like it was a major investment.

I agree with Blazer but hey if you know that you are going to bash the body for sure then why invest in a new body right? Looks like its ready for take off.

I do like the idea where you re-inforced the holes to take some carnage. Be sure to post the flight and good luck!

I figured that most of my bodies rear hole gets busted out so I thought using a scrap piece of lexan there might help.

hey EL now that should the getto award for the uglest chop job. lol
And its good to see you back on the board.

This thread represents one of the reasons I do not run a body on my buggy.
1. They get tanked really easily during any hardcore bashing (three-four bodies tanked during the last Hampton Roads Bash...none were mine:D )
2. El Pirata is certain to come up with something that is about as ugly and useless as tits on a boarhog.

EP, it looks a little more aerodynamic, but I'm not too certain it will buy you anything. Guess we'll see in a few weeks.

I like it. Nice tight fit, minimum air resistance. Any color but that one though.

if worst comes to worst you can take off the wing, put some on road tires on lower it a bit and race with the rs-4's. i think i got an old hummer body laying in the closet if you wanna try that....lol... make sure you dont put any rcnt sticker on it...

How could I have missed this post from my buddy??? I'd offer the dagger back but I know you get them by the truck load.

Landed the AC in a bush? Must have a nice ramp set up already. Is that thing ready to go for your "big stunt?"

As for the roll cage, there isn't one. He used some RAMTech RC hood vents on the side windows and roof to provide more cooling air to the engine. That is a pretty innovative use for a solid product. Guess we'll see how long that body holds up...

One thing to be careful of without running a body is your air filter getting knocked off and your engine sucking in dirt!
