a few questions

well i just got my blitz and love it. I've got a couple of questions about it though.

my spur gear doesn't seem to be round... it has a tight spot. i tried adjusting the mesh but no luck. also the slipper seems to be looser than i like but doesn't really respond to tightening the spring.

the front shocks seem really springy compared to the rear. is this normal? they have almost the same feel as no oil in them at all.

the front suspension arms have some play in them at the hinge pins. is that normal?

overall i love the truck though.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

i bought it factory new.. its getting lipo's, most likely a novac 4.5t brushless setup and some other do dads that have to do with making it handle.

well yes and no I'm new to rc.. i own and race 2 hpi baja's and have been doing that for a race season and i raced 1:10 nitro for a month or 2 before i got my baja.

took it to a skatepark tonight.. in the rain.. wind blowing.. dark. it was FUN till it just simply didnt respond to the remote i think the reciever got water in it but who cares??? forget rtr gear when you have a spek dx3r sitting here the servo is crap but for now ill just throw in my hitec 7950 from my baja

the blitz jumps well but the thing i need to get used to is the parachute effect a truck body has especially with the front of the blitz as light as it is.

fried my esc :thumbup: do you think hpi will do anything?? its not like there were puddles.. just a smidge of a mist and a tiny bit of water just enough to make it slick.. no more water than morning dew thats half gone

hpi is replacing it.. not sure when it will get here.. ohh well..

my lipos came today 2 smc 5200mah 24c packs and 2 4800mah orion packs.. not sure on the c rating on those.

now to get a lipo charger.. I'm thinking about the thunder ac6 charger.. the one with the built in power supply.

Rookie!!!!!!!!! Mark the blitz front end is sloppy.. they all are...I'm sure the truck could use a once over when it comes out of the box.. maybe some new shock oil... have a look at the new alum shocks out as well...

I'm going to run it stock and trade you a once over on one of your baja's for a once over on the blitz.. seems fair to me
