i found the clutch i was looking for werks power clutch do i need a specific one or is it only one type if so will it fit a .28

forget about the clutch found it on the second page of the werks site
one question do i use the standard clutchbell?
Just ordered the bodies and some paint

good news everyone

6x6 rocks
recieved the 3rd diff today installed it and took it for a test drive got some good speed out of it even with the s-25 trouble is it would only have decent acceleration above 200 and it would take about 2/3 tank to get there

200f is allright, go more, my hot bodies engine runs sweet at around 240 250f.

aslong as there smoke i wouldnt worry too much.

aint those power clutchs like 40 quid?

i don't really need any tuning lessons and i always have a smoke trail becides who's been in to nitro the longest also different engines run best at different temps.
I only said ran good at 200 because i thought it would get hotter because of the added load

the clutches are about 40 quid but remember the mill will be pushing more weight so i think an upgrade is necessary
hopefully i'm going to rebuid the .46 (with an OS bearing lousy hotbodies C***) then upgrade that to aluminium clutch shoes so i can switch between mills.

thats suck man

hehe nice one mate, somone finnaly telling the truth..

well ill leave you to it with the tuning then, if your gonna be like that!:)

i think youll find the problem with your .46 was it was ran too cool, causing premature wear. (no doubt ill get some crap off you for saying that).

I've learnt my lesson now and try to run mine above 210f still with a good smoke trail.

and yes you are right about different engines run at different temps, but i dont think there are many that run at 200f at there best!

anyway, you just need the new engine now? and then its complete?

i'll have you know that the .46 was perfectly tuned and running at optimal temperature J/K
i think it was more the blue thunder fuel remember when we went up the track just before i switched fuel and it was pushing your t-maxx along in that drag race

anyway its just the engine and body i'm waiting for know

finally got the engine today the nosram rs.28
first impressions looks good seems to have good pinch and compression
I'm going to break it in as the manualwhich is the standard breakin without the idling on a box part
i'm going to break it in using 13-52 gearing to try and take some of the stress off it

also got the bodies and spray paint i don't recommend gluing stuff with old CA it takes ages to dry ordered the wrong colour flip paint so it'll be gunmetal with flames and skulls with chrome bumpers

did 2 tanks for break in and sprayed the body today (not my best work) as for the engine its a pain in the ass to start and keep running but seems to have good power even when very rich

Heres the pics of the finished product

no its not a racer but better tyres would be nice especially on the front it understeers loads without 4WS
The stock savage tyres are rubbish compared to the others i have used theres to much tyre roll in them

well here it is,

a quick vid of the 6wheeled monster.

the high revving is caused by a suspected loose slipper.
