RCTalk Racer
know that this probably should be in the electric general or whatever, but I am considering getting the new e maxx this summer so that I can drive something in the fall and winter.
The owner at my lhs is an electic guru, and I asked him if you get more or less runtime with a 7 cell or a 6 cell pack (I've only used 6 cell packs), or if you just get more power. He said that you get less runtime, and more power, and that I should just stick with 6 cell packs for all of my vehicles (because it provides a good balance of power and runtime). So I am asking, is what he said true? If it is, I'll probably get some more 6 cell packs if I get an e maxx, because I've gotten used to the long runtimes that you get with nitro.
I just dont want to spend the extra bones on loose smc -7cells and get my lhs guy to build them into packs if it wont be much differant from the smc e maxx dual 6 cell 3600 package. Speaking of that, woud it be better to get 1 pair of good smc 7 cell packs, or 1 pairs of those 6 cell 3600 packs? I dont want to spend a ton on an e maxx (if I get it) because it will pretty much be only for the rainy season/days. When it is dry, I will run my Savage X SS
Thanks everyone, you guys rule
Oh, and sorry about the long post
