5b Screws

Two of the main chassis screws that connect the rear engine plate to the main rail fell out and now I'm going to order some new ones.

Would it be safe to run with only two screws until the new ones get here?

i wouldnt do it in the engine plate. that is alot of torque.

I wasn't sure since it has several other braces other than the main plate holding it on... but I'll hold off on running it for a while.

the bolts you need should be redily available at any hardware store.

just take one of the 2 you have left out with out to your local hardware store or lowes/home depot. they should have something that will work fine for the 2 missing bolts.

i think those are M5x16mm countersunk bolts? they are in the manual with the sizes listed.

M6 x 14mm. I'm going to Ace tomorrow to see if they have one.

Make sure you Loctite it this time!!

i knew i was close, just was too lazy to dig out the manual and look. lol

Red loctite goes on all the 4mm screws on mine. I wouldn't trust it on the smaller ones though. Strip out the head on one of those with red loctite and I'm doomed. lol
