3PK with Spektrum

Looks like I will soon selling the XS3 to get the 3PK soon. I have had my eye on this radio for sometime now. What are you 3PK owners thinking? Durability? Versatility? Ease? Comfort?

I held the new 3PK black titanium at RCX and damn I was in love! Any glitches with this radio? Pros and cons please?

Just got the 3PK Black in trade from Jessie at RushRC and this thing is PIMP!! Didn't see the need fo the "Super" version as this will suffice. I am looking at the Futaba Spektrum set up as opposed the Spektrum by Horizon. Cheaper and supposed to be "better" than the other. I just like the feature of Spektrum period. So easy to just turn on and run. Now I have to go read up and understand this mean manual that it came with.

Any opinions from Spektrum users with this radio?? I also will be trying out the radio APA Steering system.

Congrats on the new radio Jon. I run mine with DSM and not a single glitch so far. I love the way it feels in my hand, the balance is perfect. Only flaw IMO is the stock 700mah nicad battery. I picked up a 2600mah nimh pack on ebay for around $30. It adds a little weight to the base and makes the radio feel even beefier.

I will be selling my spare XS3 shortly in favor of the 3PK system also.

I have already bought the FASST Module/Receiver and a spare FASST receiver from A-Main yesterday. The deal was too good to pass up especially when I got to use the $25 off coupon code.

I will be getting the 3PK radio itself once the best deal presents itself.

In the meantime, feel free to send me your 3PK so I can install the FASST and give it a thorough review.

SD, I didn't figure out the Mah rating yet but that figure is weak. I will have to upgrade that after I get the Spektrum. Do you have the Super?

Rob.. I am just waiting for some more funds to come in and than I will be getting the same set up you have. But with the radio. LOL. Done that in a similar situation. I bought an engine for a rig I didn't have yet.

I will send ya my 3PK. Just leave the FASST set up with it. LOL

Yeah Mine has the "upgraded" wheel. I do not think that the "super" would have anything that I would want to pay the extra dough for... Still a sexy radio especially in the hand.

I got mine from maxxamps. I run with LV3, LV1 and 2 are just the basic adjustments.

Jon as you get to know the radio..You will use more on each level..You will use more when you get the spec system.

For some reason he charge $8 bucks for shipping instead of $5 like the auction.

I added 2 to the cart thinking shipping would be $8 and I would just pick one up for you, but shipping went to $13. Kind of lame if you ask me.

I am going to wait on him to re-list the pack and buy it on ebay as well. After you of course since you already have the radio.

The receivers on the FASST system are tiny. It only has about a 3" antenna to boot.
