Just wondering, sense the dawn of the 4x4 Slash, are some of you still taking your 2wd Slash as a prize possession? Still giving it some run time or shelving it for dust collection and sale... :D

Since the dawn of 4WD is rapidly taking over, id pretty it up, make it look the best you can, and show it off on the shelf because you know you had a blast with it and alot of cool memories. Imo of course :D

Unless, not sure about it at all but maybe some sort of 2WD-4WD conversion? o.O

IDK what you are talking about. There will always be a spot for 2wd vehicles out there. I still bash the hell out of my 2wd. Havent even thought bout getting a 4wd. The original slash is and always will be one of my favorite babys.

I sold both of my 2wd's, the 4wd is just so much sweeter.

Although there are some things that piss me off that I didnt have to deal with on the 2wds. Having the drive line through the middle of the 4wd sucks, I'm always getting small gravel stuck in it.

Don't get me wrong I was introduced on 2WD and always have a spot but there is a big push it seems for 4WD models

Well for me, my Slash was my first Real RC. Not the cheap nitro's I had at first. Some of you may remember. :p: I still love to run it. 2wd in the dirt is challenging and fun too.
But , I still love the Slash 2wd though it has been out of commission lately. Damn soldering is a pain in the @$$ with the wires from the Velinion motor. Got so frustrated with it, I have put it down for now.

2wd is more fun & less weight

there are times when i want a four wheel drive mainly for climbing hills but I'm a 2wd guy and that makes that hill that much harder o and i can drift a turn at like 50
