I got a gs .21 for free thats in really good shape.....but uhhh wont fit on the tmaxx anybody know of any conversion kits???

I just some searching around and it looks like you'll need a big block chassis. By the looks of things, you'd be better off selling the .21 and picking up a redot .26. All the parts from a 2.5/3.3 fit right on it. They produce more than enough power. You'll have to upgrade the entire drivetrain to handle it. What model Maxx do you have? 2.5, right?

Yes you will need a extended chassis and you will also have to upgrade the entire drive line to handle the extra power. I have a .28 in my T-Maxx but there is nothing left stock on it.

well its a gs .26 and yes i have a 2.5 so I'm just gunna try it and see where it gets me....I'm gunna do some custom moddin to the chassis and stuff just to see if i can get it to work....i have an extra chassis so whats it worth all i gotta do is spend the time to transfer everything over if i feel it lol....gettin all the brushless parts tom. so ill have that to occupy time as well lol......electric almost seems better cuz of the ease of it but I'm a loud kinda guy so i def. want the nitro runnin lol......I'm workin on it and when i get it goin without the upgraded stuff ill shoot pics up it up and maybe some vids.... hopefully it works but ill let yall know how it goes

well gettin ready to head to the local hardware store to pick up the motor mount nuts bolts and some washers to use as risers for the motor mounts.......and then drill the holes and mount it up...hahaha.....also gotta put the axle extenders on.....so lets hope for the best.......the ups site says my brushless parts are out for delivery so lets hope on that too....itd be an awesome day if i could get both my trucks goin....

I think you'll find that the exhaust won't fit. The header will hit the rear shock tower. So all the work will be for nothing. I'd try and sell/swap that engine for a .18 OS cvr. Mine rips, and the stock driveline holds up just fine.

well got it all on there and its lookin pretty awesome....only thing to do now is to get a new exhaust....i dont want to sell it for a smaller motor no matter if i gotta upgrade driveline or not.....id rather have bigger than smaller....but thats just me.....ill have it runnin here soon....

Well gotta get a new roto start cuz the pull start aint cuttin it....so payday well be awesome lol.....as for my electric well i guess i fried my esc so gotta get that on payday ahhh...owell gotta love the hobby......once i get my roto start and stuff ill get some pics posted

hey do you guys know that if i just get the extended chassis and not the big block chassis will that work???

The new chassis's are extended in the front, not the back. Which means the new, extended chassis will give you no more room for a big block engine.

preciate it man....i think I'm just guna get the .21 motor mount from new era and see where that takes me....who cares if i gotta shave some plastic hahaha...no big deal.. ill get pics posted once i get it runnin....just gotta have you guys walk me through the procedure of puttin pics up....gotta order the roto start and the motor mount for it this payday then i gotta order the esc for my electric..hahah i guess electric and water dont mix....hmmm who woulda thunk it lol
