2001 Rc10tc3 4wd on road worth?

Hello everyone! I have a 2001 nitro associated electrics inc rc10tc3 1-10 4wd on road rc. I have a bunch of spare parts for it. The guy I got it from bought it new and used 2-3 times. I’m wondering if someone could give me a rough estimate of what it’s all worth.

No but seriously ...... I had 3 of these NTC3 cars loved them .... was extremely into nitro TC, then got out of the hobby for almost 10 yrs .... now i am back ... but dont want to mess with nitro any more ..... too messy lol .... but i am EXCITEDLY waiting for the new Team Associated TC8 to come out first quarter of 2025 !!!!!!

Lets get some facts and we'll try to dial in a $
The old owner ran it 3 times? How many times did you run it?
Does the motor still have good compression?
Is there any electronics included? Is so, what?
How are the tires? Flat spots?
Do you have any pics of the underside of the chassis?
These are great old cars. Nitro is prob not as strong as electric market but you won't have trouble selling this if its priced fairly!

Theres no need to include a radio. I wanted to know if you had intended to include one where it might effect the price.
The tail of the chassis doesn't look bad but the car has some asphalt use.
If it still has decent compression, I'd guess in vicinity of $250.
Ask for a bit more than you'd like to get and let the buyer grind $25 off your price so they can feel like they got a good deal too!
If you have a lot of extra parts, you could ask for a bit more.
I would recommend checking your spares to see if you have any "unobtanium" parts in the bin before you hand it all away.
A ball diff for an vintage Optima Mid is about $100 right now!!!
You might have similar Associated "gold"!
I'd recommend looking on Marketplace (because I can't , no fb account) and verify $250ish price.
Ebay is right at similar $.
Do be careful if you try to sell on ebay!
Lots of bad stories about ebay siding with buyer when a problem arises.

I JUST bought an old RC10L from a seller on Craigslist.
This seems like a better platform for r/c sales.
Don't exchange ANY personal info. Use craigslist to communicate. Meet in a well lit parking lot with a large, scary friend if its sketchy!
Craigs is a cash deal and its either going to sell or no, end of story, NO REFUNDS!

I got it from a good friend of mine. He comes from a pretty wealthy family. He’s paralyzed from the waste down so it was hard for him to get it started and stuff. That’s why he only drove it a few times.

I have a two traxxas maxx’s and a custom built monster truck i bought and made parts for at my shop. I’ll start going thru the parts. I don’t have a facebooklet either. My wife does tho. Thank you for the advice and info. I appreciate it.

From what I'm seeing, everything looks ok. It's not like its mint. it looks like it was used and taken care of properly. for what they are going for, I'd say 200-300 is a decent price.

That thing is beautiful man. I don't know what it's worth, but I'd start the asking price around $250 maybe and go from there. But if you find somebody who's going to cherish it, cut them a break. It's sad to think how many really cool vintage RC's have likely been tossed by someone who was cleaning out an estate, thinking they were just toys. I'd much rather see someone enjoying it. Good luck rehoming it.

I might have it wrong from 8 or so years ago.
I know he was running an RC10GT. His vids made me want SO badly to fire mine up in my apartment kitchen so the neighbors could enjoy too!!
I thought the TC3 was also involved???
Either way, he's a vintage Associated nitro guy so maybe of some interest.
Had I not gone "crazy shopping" last week, I'd likely be a buyer on this baby!
They really ARE nice cars! They are really fast and handle GREAT!
From my favorite era of Associated products for sure!
This car is a score for a vintage fan for sure!

Thank you all for your kindness and messages to me. I don’t have really anyone to talk to besides my wife and kids. I pushed all my old friends away years ago because they all turned to drugs and alcohol or were just bad people. I’m a Cnc programmer/ machinist going on 18 years with a stay at home wife for the past 14 years. I’m 37 years old and I feel like all I do is work. I grew up homeless majority of the time as a kid. When I met my wife all I had was a Camaro and a backpack full of clothes. I own my home but with a mortgage, I switched jobs 4 months ago after taking the previous job before the one I’m at now back in December of 2023. Things were going great! Had around 7 grand in my bank account, which was the most I’ve ever saved. They got slow and I was only working around 30 hours a week or less. Goin from making 1300 a week take home to around 500-600 a week for almost 4 months hurt me bad. I drained my bank account and had to sell 2 of my 3 quads and my two mini jeeps. I just got caught up last week finally and the job I’m at now is getting slow. I only worked 2 days last week. The shop I'm at now turned down a job I brought in that was over a million a year. I’ve tried opening my own machine shop twice in the past ten years but didn’t work out because I didn’t have enough money. I’m at my wits end.
I keep praying for Jesus to give me a better opportunity. Hopefully some day my prayer will be answered.

keep your chin up .... keep grinding ... and keep a positive attitude ... good things will happen. All we have in this world is each other man. it's great you got someone beside you that you trust and loves you in the good times and bad. But you will get there we all do man. Hopefully in the comming yrs things will start getting better for all of america !
