Finally had a chance to run on my track this season. Got the SCT boys out for a good day!! Had some issues with 2 of them, but overall it was a blast! The Tekno sct410.3 was the best part of the day!!!! Even got my truggified Typhon-"The Green Machine"-out for a night run. :thumbs-up: 😁🤗✌️ And hung my new Tekno banner.

Sweet mother of pearl!
Link to light please...

It's currently unavailable, but there's more like it on Amazon. I attached it to an old portable bball hoop we had. Looking to get another used bball pole for my next light. Much easier than puttin' a pole in the ground.

Works pretty well too.

AWESOME!!

No way the wife would ok me to rip up any part of the lawn.
Lol.....We've got a little over an acre, so she's got plenty more yard. Lol
When I first built the track, my wife said "You might as well take the rest of this section to the fence"......almost made her put that in writing.....I always bring it up around her to remind her. 🤣 Already started mapping it out the other day. Just waiting on neighbor to help me till it with his mini-backhoe. :thumbs-up: Gonna have a bridge too!! So excited!! 😆 Just need 300' more of drainage pipe.

I said it before. I wish I was your neighbor. Just amazing man. How are you making the gifs? They look really good.
Thanks! My phone's (Samsung/Android) default video app has the option. It's a button you can hit while watching a vid, which pulls up a slide bar to pick up to 5 seconds of vid to make a gif. :thumbs-up:

Ridin Dirty lol. I am ridin clean at my local carpet track. Well besides all the annoying carpet strings around the axles. 🤣 Short course trucks are fun. I had been looking at either the SCT410 SL or the SCTE 3.0. I have so many kits I am looking at. ET410.2, and alot more.

What tires are you running on the cars for the dirt? Might want to get some for the dirt oval track near my grandmas house and once we arrange plans. ;)

Looks like a blast!! Love it

@Smilinbri I don't know if I've told you this lately......YOU SUCK!

O.K. I might be a bit more than just a tad jealous. :yuck: 🤣
I feel you.

@Smilinbri you need a sheriff car to keep in that dirty riding. 🤣 The track looks great..... too great.

I got about an acre of lawn myself. Unfortunately, only a small portion of that is behind the house.
There actually is enough room for a small 1/10 track, but it would take a lot of elbow grease, heavy machinery, and dirt/clay to clear it out and get it smooth. I'm just not ambitious enough for all of that.

Although, it may be well worth it, just to annoy @Doom! 🤔

I have to think if you hadn't built such a beautiful track, she'd probably think differently. Does your wife ever run the cars with you? Is it just you enjoying the track? Just curious what all goes on there. An RC club would love having you as a member lol.

I’m gonna make a crawler track in my back yard. We have a little area in the middle of the yard that has an oval brick retaining wall with trees in it. I already have some jumps in it from when I drove my mini t in it.

Thanks! I've been runnin' different tires to try em out. My track is dry dirt/rutted/with rocks.....so def need traction. The pin pattern doesn't work as well. i.e. PL Gladiators SC.

I have PL Badlands SC on my Slash and they work well. I really like the Power Hobby Rapture MXSC that I have on my Senton 3s and 6s. They have treads on the sides a little that really help dig in.

The JConcepts Magma's are nice, but a little taller than traditional SCT tires.

The Duratrex Six Pack SC ones are pretty nice. Good budget tire.

I have the TA Pro4 SC10s on my Tekno. 1st time using them yesterday. They seemed to work well so far.

Looks like a blast!! Love it
Thanks!!!

Thanks!! Lol- Got one, just afraid I'll mess up the lights if I roll it on the track.

It is a lot of work and needing motivation....but o so worth it!!! :thumbs-up:🤗

Right. 😂

Not really. We started with a bunch of Amazon-Bezgar ones when I first built it In 2021. She and the kids played with me a bunch that 1st season, but they kinda lost interest. My wife has NO throttle control, so she does NOT drive my hobby grade rigs. 🙄🤣 A couple of times a season I'll get all the Amazon rigs out and we will all race around. Playin' freeze tag with the cars is a blast! Otherwise, it's me by myself. Sometimes my brother will come up for a day and run with me, but he's married with youngins and lives 40 mins away, so it has to be a planned day where he can get away for the whole day. 🤷‍♂️

Sweet! Yea, I would think you would need less of an area for a crawler course, so more feasible. Good luck and share pics of your progress!! :thumbs-up:

Will do!

Had them before and used them on my slash. It's a good tire for off road in the grass and lots of traction in the street. But the bad thing is I stripped 3 of those wheels. But I determined it is my fault as the wheel nuts I am using, they back out so easily. If I go back to the stock ones I have no problem. I also have a set of lockups 2.8 MTs but they rub against the suspension arm when I turn. And they cause alot of motor heat too.

Ah heck, you don't need a track to do that, just whip out some of your sea cockroaches! 🤣
