Hey everyone! Thanks for all your help so far in trying to figure out what route/build i want to take on my first Crawler build. What are the advantages/disadvantages on the following:

1 motor with a drive shaft:

2 motors no driveshaft:

Besides cost!!!!!

Thanks.

well for me i flippin hate driveshafts!!!! i was always break the plasic ones and when i got MIP's the grubs always came loose are i would break the tranny out drives!!!! plus you have all the weight of the motor and tranny sitting at basically the highest point of the rig wich makes it top heavy. so with a motor on axle rig all the weight is on the axles except for the battery, esc, reciever and if you run it, dig...

No Worries ajames, i say the same thing every time i post.....they can't be worst then mine LMAO, but these guys/gals on here are great! It's actually a good question and I'm curios myself. is any setup 1/2 motors dig capable?

go berg you will want a berg half way threw your shafty build (just like me )

it allows u to stop the rear wheels from getting power to make sharper turns and climb more vertical rocks

losi shafty will pwn

i dont under stand what your saying

but there are two types of digs one that disconnects the driveshaft and one that is electic with a servo

yes both setups will allow dig, on a shafty it basically uses a servo to disconnect your rear driveline and on a MOA its electronic and just cuts the power to that motor front or rear.

lol ajames asked a question and i answered and then we both deleted our posts.

are you lying bmiller? i think maybe so......by the way who evers it is, thats a short ass couch.

The more i research the more impressed i become with the Bergs. I assume Dig is an optional upgrade or is it a 3 channel setting....probably a dumb question...LOL

i'll sell mine rtr for $1100 if you want it.

yes you need a 3rd channel and yeah its optional....you would want it though.

Thanks for the offer Slowngreen.......But, i enjoy the build and wrenching as much as running. You are selling the Grey build i seen on another post already?

BTW...That is Bad $@# build!!!!

are ill sell u my badass shafty lol and i get a new berg

i'll take it apart first then you can buy it lol....no I'm not....unless??? lol.

I think my research is over and I'm going for the Berg. Pics to come after Christmas....telling the wife i have decided!!!LOL thanks everyone!

if you have any questions on what you need to buy feel free to pm me....
