At the start of our main last night one of the guys throttle stuck wide open. It managed to jump the track and it was off. Out of the corner of my eye I could see people running but I was racing and I thought nothing of it. After I came off the stand, I saw a badly battered Storm. It had made it to the highway where it was rudely greated by an 18 wheeler and 4 other cars. Here's a pic:

The picture actually does makes it look better than it was. The engine's cas was cracked and had a huge gouge in it. The head was flattened. The chassis was bent and warped. However, considering what it went through, it shows that these are some tough little dudes. Could you imagine what a XXX-4 or something like that would look like if it were hit by a mack truck?

damn.....
hope the guy is okay. I'd be kinda down if that happened to mine.

So is he going to buy anew or fix that one? Looks fixable, but would cost a pretty penny...

Are the diffs/bulkheads okay? Shocks? Half the rear end is gone, so I guess something nasty happened there.

An xxx after the same would look interesting, I'm sure. :cheeky:

ha, that looks amazing. I'm surprised that the upper deck is still..well...upper. Wow, that is soo cool...only because its not my vehicle. Did that guy have a Fail Safe?

Heck, El Pirata's Maxx looked worse than that when it was taken out by that BMW.....

Looks like one tough buggy...

No he didn't. He was using a receiver pack with regular batteries, which probably died and causing his runaway.

that reminds me... i still need to put that throttle return spring in. :x

What carnage!!! That is an expensive lesson to learn for not running a failsafe and a throttle return spring.

That's what I was thinking. The only thing he got om me was the detached wheel. All of my parts on my t-maxx were still attached but they all looked like a crushed beer can. I'll dig up the pics later if I have time.

I hope you can see it better!

Yeah, I was wondering why they weren't bent up. Lookes like it was only hit one and maybe drove under the rest of the cars.. A video would of been awesome!
