Wicked build you got there, And i can see your a fellow iXSR user huh? I just recently preordered my own iXSR+ and it should be here sometime next month i can't wait. Blame RazorRC and @RBRC for making me wanting one i just had to have one when i first heard about it. Please post a Build showcase on your Kraton i'd love to hear about what's in it. I've always wanted an EXB Kraton 6s but there always seems to be something else more valuable and expensive i want.

I hear they added the new DSMR+ protocol to it with advanced mixing options and they also have a new 10 channel receiver coming out that is the SR1015T. But i think Horizon\Spektrum plans to release a new firmware update to the current model iXSR to add some of functionality from the + to the original model. But yeah mostly the new + model is a direct replacement for the original and it's a rerelease of it i went ahead and preordered my new iXSR+. Since i never had the original and i didn't have the money to get it before it was discontinued but i waited until the + model came out to buy my own iXSR. I think they discontinued the original due to potential software\firmware issues and maybe hardware issues but i wish they recalled it for that instead of fully discontinuing it but keeping updates available for it.

I sure hope too, I can't wait to get mine in so i can try it out but that won't be until sometime Mid October. But i already prebought it so it's mine now and i got some accessories for it like the pit mat, Screen protector and a lanyard since i felt with a transmitter this expensive i want to keep it from getting drop or knock over damage. I also started looking into replacement battery alternates since i know that was an issue with the original but maybe i'm just becoming paranoid for no reason when i haven't even received mine yet.Yea it was a lot of money to have these worries.
Oh well, I have it and can't cry now. hahaha
I hope software/firmware updates will keep it relevant.

Yeah, That's for sure i saw a few people online have battery issues with theirs but i hope Spektrum\Horizon will have fixed it with the + model also have some of the firmware bugs i learned about on Facebook. I've waiting a longtime to get mine even considered a Futaba 10PX but in the end i knew i wanted a TX like the iXSR but i wanted to get the new + model when it came out. I also can't believe they didn't increase the price for the + model but added the 12 channel functionality and DSMR+ to it and not charge extra for those new features all smiles for me.You are going to love that TX!

I was on the Spektrum site last night, checking it out.
Yeah I agree with you there, I preordered my new iXSR+ since i never got the chance to own the original and i'm sort of glad cause of the battery and firmware issues which i hope will be fixed with the + model. I heard Spektrum is planning to release a new firmware update that adds the + functionality to the non + original model and might fix some software and firmware bugs. I don't know when they'll release it probably when the + model fully comes out next month.
The latest update has already added the dual protocol and bug fixes....(Hopefully all the bug fixes.)
