I finally got a chance to try this car out thanks to a friend who was brave enough to let me. Some say this is like the F1 of RC. It sure feels like it!

Will probably not get into it too much this year since I am already racing in two different classes and romping around in a third, but I have to say this car by far is such a joy to drive around.

It zips!!!

Fastest lap: 16.4

Short term plans:
- Grab a set of proper batteries
- Learn more about foam tires and “truing”
- Get the car properly setup

I'd like to hear more about your adventures with foam! I am still looking for a good source for 12mm hex 2.2 buggy tires.
BSR drag racing tires are pretty close but buggy my tires are 78mm diameter and drag tires are 68.
Def following!

Your new car is beautiful! More like art than RC!!! I love that its belt drive too! It looks fast just sitting there!!! 😍😎👍

Dang, those rear tires are WIDE!

Fixed receiver, transponder. Cleaned up wiring.
Got a proper set of batteries.
Checked camber, toe, ride height, droop.
Rotated tires.
Adjusted ESC settings.

Fastest lap: 16.3

Fastest lap: 15.874 😱

Getting the hang of it! Using the same old tires. In comparison one of the fast guys did a 13.781. OMG.

Learned to adjust body height so it doesn’t drag. Also tried out LRP batteries. They felt just as good as the Proteks.

Need to focus less on speed now and more on lines and consistency.
