A little morning run to test out the new bridge and to give it some scale in a picture

Backyard update...

Hurricane Helene showed me where I needed some drainage to keep my track in tack when we have heavy rains...so I'm starting to dig out ultimately what will be like a dry riverbed/drainage area...

You can see the dark souls plateau stalking in the background...

the new riverbed will meet with the dark souls plateaus rock slide and help push water away from my little track I've built...which I'm also starting to line with edger to prepare for additional plants in and around the track and fresh straw after the leaves all come down.
