As promised..

Remedied the BS Reds Racing fan mount, and cleaned up all my edges on her body. This one is ready to rock.

Step 1) Identify the problem. Reds sucks.

Step 2) prepare fix ingredients. Located (1) M3x12 button-head, and (1) M3x5 button-head. Yep.

Tear it apart.

Note the set screw that’s designed to stop the opposing M3 screw. Sure is a good thing they chose 10.9 hardware and all.. Morons.

Step 17) salute terrible engineering. Done.

Apply 248 to M3x5 button-head.

Install, make tighten, and clean up Smurf-jizz.

Place mount back on high end motor that you will now not absolutely destroy because your Top Tier Nitro engine, and high end electronics company can’t design a simple fan mount. Right, got it.

Set timer for a half hour because you use 248 paste, and not your grandpa’s liquid threadlocker.

Jam for a brief period to some quality easy listening tunes, until alarm goes off. Check.

Apply 248 only to where the treads will end up within your P.O.S. Reds Racing billet/CNC’d fan mount. Affirmative.

Double check mount is exactly where you want, and run the new jam-screw into the mount, and against your stop-screw that isn’t going ANYwhere.. Copy copy..

Make tighten. Yahtzee.
