I recently went for a speed run with my Bandit Vxl and I hit a bump and broke the left rear Axle carrier...Just wondering if a Rpm one would hold up better vs stock.

Never had issues with screws backing out. Hmm. But I do agree that aluminum for hubs.I didn't like RPM for Traxxas because TRX plastic is already soft enough, and with RPM I had issues with screws backing out and threads stripping all over the place. Traxxas HD arms and stock (preferably aluminium) hubs for me.
Yes. I have had NO problems with RPM over the years.I recently went for a speed run with my Bandit Vxl and I hit a bump and broke the left rear Axle carrier...Just wondering if a Rpm one would hold up better vs stock.
This same problem happens with Traxxas arms, where the hinge pin holes get stripped out.I didn't like RPM for Traxxas because TRX plastic is already soft enough, and with RPM I had issues with screws backing out and threads stripping all over the place. Traxxas HD arms and stock (preferably aluminium) hubs for me.
Yup. That's what I have on our drag car.STRC locking hinge pins
