A local guy here has aTeam Associated Monster GT for sale for $200, it does not look like it had ever been ran and the guy even has fuel and batteries. Should I jump on that like a fat kid on free cake? Or pass?

i would! have 2 of them, and both have been great trucks, only breakage so far is a bent turnbuckle, (didnt realize until i was putting my FT ones on) bent upper hinge pin brace, and CVDs.A local guy here has aTeam Associated Monster GT for sale for $200, it does not look like it had ever been ran and the guy even has fuel and batteries. No idea to be honest. Sorry it wouldn't let me save the pictures earlier for some reason.i would! have 2 of them, and both have been great trucks, only breakage so far is a bent turnbuckle, (didnt realize until i was putting my FT ones on) bent upper hinge pin brace, and CVDs.
i would recomend being on the lookout for a FOC kit as the reverse assembly is notoriously heavy, and semi-weak.
what engine is on it? 4.6, .21, or 8.0?
from the pictures, i am pretty sure its a .21, 9 cooling head fins, iirc the 4.6 had 10.No idea to be honest. Sorry it wouldn't let me save the pictures earlier for some reason.

Wondering if you would know where I would get an air filter for mine? I got it a little while ago and it was sitting for around ten-twelve years, and when I washed the filter it started ripping up and it disintegrated. Maybe it’s simply because it’s old, or maybe I was doing it the wrong way, I don’t know. Also, how would I test if the glow plug works? I put the warmer on it for a little while, hat it locked on with batteries in it, and I was told by the previous owner that it would light something up until it was red, but I didn’t see anything glowing. I put a new one in too. I don’t know much about the engine so I figured it join this and see if I could find someone who knows anything about this. Thanks!Well if you want one I have plenty. I’d sell you one. Lol
