haha, dont ya just love it when a plan comes together?

Sometimes ya hafta take a step backwards to go forward.

On this one frame, I think I'll work from the top down, mount the engines & transmission first, then, the suspension. The engines will be mounted in a carriage machined from 7075, then, mounted in the frame. After this, I can start on the trans case. According to other boards, the reverse gear, for some reason, causes the trans to blow. Now, whether that's due to shifting-on-the-fly, I don't know, but, I would like to keep reverse....if I can.

I am very impressed by the work of art you are making here.

Not often do you see craftsmanship like this and so many custom parts made.

Keep up the great work, master R/C truckbuilder.

u should make that in a 1/18 scale that would be wiccked

The brake sys is already fiigured out and has been. To do the rear, I needed some new tooling and ordered that. Now, I just need the time to finish it. Lately, I've been working on a set of alum axles for a Jugg, so, I haven't had much time to do much of anything on this truck. I did, however, manage to scrape up some time to make the cables, cable holders, pads, and caliper slide-pins, (from stainless). As of now, I'm not sure when I can get back on it! After the axles, I have a tube chassis to make for a guy in Washington state, so, time, lately, is a rare commodity.

with the brake lines are you just gunna hook up the servo to the cables with some custom machined servo arm like a straight one because the way you have it it looks like you can do that, or you ahead of me and just didnt say it yet. lol

Thanks, Woodie.

Because the suspension has so much movement to it, connecting the cables directly to a servo would be impractical and brake operation would be erratic. By connecting them to a local point and connecting that same local point to the servo with one cable, eliminates anything, suspension-wise, that could hinder or alter brake operation.
