so yeah, I got a new toy.. XTM Xterminater 2.. but now I've got some problems...

I got it broken in. I broke it in according to the manual. The first official "driving" tank went fine. and now it won't idle. I thought it was the radio trims.. negative... tried tuning it.. other than idle, it goes just fine.. plenty of blue smoke!

just won't idle??? is it the linkage needed to be adjusted?

Open your carb opening some more then. If it dies on full brake, then it's closing the carb too much. Turn the idle screw in (clockwise) until it will idle while you're on full brake and you should be good.

Have you leaned the LSN yet?
Install a new glow plug too.

Lean the LSN, you probably have overleaned the HSN. Richen it back up on the HSN and lean the LSN.

Does it stall when you apply the brakes, or just doesn't like idling?
Maybe it's self conscious and wants to drive all the time?
Mine is, it loves making friends with trees..

ummm it will idle for 2-3 seconds with no activity from the servo, but i adjusted idle screw.... fixed the stalling when braking issue....... but it still won't idle after its warm...and when its warm, i need to open the throttle a bit and crank it a few times??? soo annoying... HELP!!!

Lean the damn LSN! Quit being hardheaded! J/K please don't be offended.
A properly set LSN setting will allow the engine to idle for around 8 seconds before the idle speed drops after a WOT pass.

yeah so I got it running like a champ. till the pole jumped out of the snow bank.. and tore the l/f suspention off the thing...

Damn poles..... they love to do that! Glad to hear it's running good. I almost bought that same buggy a while back.

ya should of.. the only thing i've had a problem with is that there are very few places that carry parts for it... the LHS i deal with has a whole wall full of parts, but there 20 miles away.. not a quick run and back. :(

what did you have to do to fix the stall? my mt starting doing that for a while i have to blip the gas every few secs to keep it going and i never could hit full brakes then one day out of nowhere it magically started running right lol thats nitro for you
