Got my new truck in the mail today! Believe it or not, this will be my first time building a kit. I will be installing a vxl-3 system running on lipo, of course.

Well, so much for the build. 
I got so wrapped up in it that I forgot to take pics. The build was easy and everything went together smooth. My only issue was with the hardware, the screws used are a pretty soft metal and I stripped a few during assembly. A quality screw kit is next on the list. I did end up running the velinion 3500 setup with a hitec 5645 steering servo. Finally finished it up today and had my first chance to try it. The video is with the truck running on 3s!

Just finished the body. Kept it simple as I knew it would be destroyed shortly.
nice!! would be interesting to see some speed runs on 3s
